According to a recent report by 9to5Mac, Apple is planning on releasing their highly-rumored 21.5 inch iMac with a 4K display. There will be several models that could show up in stores as early as October 13, but supplies may be somewhat limited until production ramps up in November.
The first rumors for this product came when one developer spotted code in an OS X El Capitan beta which stated that the software would support a 21.5 inch display with a 4096 x 2304 resolution. Other code spotted points towards Apple using Broadwell chips with Intel Iris Pro Graphics 6200 and AMD Radeon M380 - M395X discrete graphics for the new iMac.

Rumors have suggested the new iMac will include a much improved display quality with greater color saturation, however the body of the computer will remain the same (obviously) other than the display. The 4K iMac is bound to cost more than the current 21.5 inch model which starts at $1099.
While it's unlikely we'll se updates to Apple's other lines of Macs, we could, however, see an update to their accessories for the Mac. We reported back in August that Apple has filed new patents for an updated version of their Magic Mouse and Wireless Keyboard (see pictures to left). The new Magic Mouse is supposedly set to be called "Magic Mouse 2" according to the image to the left, while the updated Wireless Keyboard will least likely get a name change. No visible changes are noticeable in the patents, but internally Apple is rumored to use Bluetooth 4.2 in each product, the current version of Bluetooth found in the iPhone 6S, iPod touch 6, and iPad Pro/mini 4. |

At the same time of this report, 9to5Mac has also stated that Apple is gearing up to officially release the iPad Pro, Apple's much-anticipated 12.9 inch tablet. According to Japanese site Mac Otakara, the company is set to release their mega-sized iPad to the world in early November, a rumor dating back quite a few months.
Of course this could not be true, due to Apple maybe slacking on the production of the tablet. But that's not likely since they entered production last month.
